Fmc Group Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback
FMC Corporation (Food Machinery Corporation) is an American chemical manufacturing company headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, which originated as an insecticide producer and later diversified into other industries. In 1941 at the beginning of WWII, the company received a contract to design and build amphibious tracked landing vehicles for the United States Department of War.
A former employee shares his thought on indeed.com, "I literally hated every minute that I worked at FMC Group. It is the worst company ever. I would rather collect garbage that go to work here. Find something else."
Medical assistant (Former Employee) says"Don’t do it. Don’t waste your time applying for this company. Your hard work is not appreciated, you will feel over worked, under payed, and you will feel stressed out. There is never a thank you for your hard work. Bonuses? Don’t hold your breath. A raise? It’s a joke. You’re better off somewhere else. Biggest mistake I made was working here. Very disappointed in this company, especially because they pride themselves in being so top notch. Some co workers were nice but most are backstabbers. The only way you will move up within the company, is if you know someone or kiss their butt. Not worth it at all."
Medical Assistant (Former Employee) says"The managers and other staff treat you like horrible . They don’t listen to you. They have no respect. They don’t teach you how to do your job. No one is friendly."
Revenue cycle team lead (Former Employee) says"Do not ever work HERE!! Technology is non existent, high work load little pay, terrible benefits, God awful management, NO BREAKS other than a 30 minute lunch even if you work 10 hours a day. No training micromanaging is at a 10, creepily close quarters, EVERYTHING is outdated!!. No pay increases freezing cold office I needed mittens or an electric blanket. Don't do it!"
Lab Assistant (Former Employee) says"I worked for the lab. The supervisor doesnt know how to lead and there js a high turnover rate. I was there for a year and we had about 7 or more people get hired and then quit because of her. Each lab runs their own show and if you are a float good luck. The other coordinating supervisor will blatantly lie to you. Make sure to record all phone calls etc because she will say" i didnt say that".. dont do it."
Revenue Specialist II (Current Employee) says"They do not like to promote from within. The company is cheap and does not like to pay physician support employees adequately. They promote a culture of mistrust and shady behavior. Training and education is minimal and mostly non-existent."
Endoscopy Technician (Former Employee) says"The North Tampa location my experience there was horrible management is terrible a bunch of snakes that works there! Lots of favoritism and if you aren't the boss's favorite you'll be thrown under the bus or fired. They need to clean house and get new management and let that old bitter staff go.."
Revenue Specialist II (Former Employee) says"FMC is more concerned with improving our surrounding community rather than improving and working with their employees or "work community". We work like slaves and are not compensated appropriately for our knowledge in the field or our hard work and dedication. Therefore, as a patient you may unfortunately encounter on more than one occasion a rather rude or irritated employee/physician.Christmas bonusHorrible benefits"
Front Desk Clerk (Former Employee) says"unorganized, and overload of work too much for the pay. management was horrible in our department, favorites were picked and not enough pay for all the stress and duties required from you."
Certified Medical Assistant (Former Employee) says"I have never seen a bunch of moody women in my life. They micro manage EVERYONE except their friends. They lie about who does what. They lie for the doctors even when they miss treat an employee. Good luck with working for FMC!free exercise classestoo many bosses not enough employees"
Certified Medical Assistant (Current Employee) says"Nice staff but need to learn and staff professional. No sense of compassion for patient needs. I come to work stressed everyday. In my opinion, no professionalism between the provider and staff."
Check In Receptionist (Former Employee) says"Very busy. Patient friendly. I learned a whole new system, and learned about insurances. I enjoyed being around patients and taking care of them.Free LunchesRude employees"

RN (Former Employee) says"Management is only interested in the bottom line. They have no loyalty to their employees, you are expected to work without questions about the extra duties and the time they demand. Constant micro-management and difficult to prove but discrimination against, race, age.nonemany"
Certified Medical Assistant (Former Employee) says"Overworked, unreasonable requirements, poor management , grossly underpaid, high expectations. Mostly enjoyed my patients and co workers. free lunchesgood doctors, free lunchesFavoritism is very prevalent"
Medical Receptionist (Reason for Leaving (Former Employee) says"Management never appreciated hard work only pointed out what you’ve done wrong more then what has been done right. Just a negative and toxic over all.Benefits, hours, overtimeNegative environment, under appreciated"
Medical Technologist (Former Employee) says"This company is not as it presents itself. They preach "patient satisfaction" but it is really all about making money. Patients are put through multiple, unnecessary tests and safety precautions are not followed. Employees are overworked, underpaid and stressed. You are expected to work 9 -hour days with no break; I sometimes couldn't even eat. Management is poorly educated and "manage" by making you fear for your job. There is a culture of favoritism; if you are not a favorite, or sleeping with a doctor, you are treated with disrespect and can become a scapegoat. Hard work and achievement is not appreciated or rewarded. The harder you work, the more work they pile on and are never satisfied. If a patient says anything negative about you, even if it is untrue, you will be crucified. There is a culture of backstabbing, lying, and unfair management practices. AVOID THIS PLACE.NoneVery sick corporate culture."
Check Out Receptionist (Former Employee) says"The job is easy. the office manager was horrible and she was friends with her manager so she could do anything she wanted to do with no consequences ."
Certified Sterile Processing Tech (Former Employee) says"On the outside Florida Medical Clinic seems like a good place to get started and gain work experience, in the inside however, and this can only be said for the Tampa location as this was the location I worked at, is a scary nightmare, management is a disaster and is clueless as to how to proficiently run the OR and as to what is even going on in the OR. The staff for the most part loves to gossip and talk behind each other’s back. Being the only person who worked in my department vacations were difficult due to not having someone to cover and breaks, lunch breaks are a rarity to come by. Shifts were always in constant flux too start times that would vary from 6-7 A but no exit time, meaning you never knew what time you’d be leaving that day.Sometimes lunch is brought inBreaks are a rarity, inconsistent shifts"
Pre- Op surgical (Former Employee) says"Tampa location Surgical Pre-op and Post op department has a negative energy. Team leaders and management are inexperienced in dealing with the challenges that they are facing and are quickly to point a finger and blame nursing staff without doing proper investigative work and proper problem solving as indicated for management . There are many factors that take place and taking the easy way out and blaming someone is not a good management skill. Team leaders and CRNA's are inconsiderate, rude and inappropriate in front of patients, Dr's and other staff members, blaming and demeaning nursing staff. Part timers were being used as on call staff without giving proper schedules ahead of time. You didn't know if you were working or not the next day up until the next day. Nursing staff is not treated with high regard and management does not have your back and is quick to throw you under the bus."
